FAQ
Straight answers about availability, materials, electronics, shipping, returns and the lore.
Availability
Can I buy anything yet?
No. Every artifact is currently a concept study. We will not take payment, accept pre-orders or quote delivery dates until a product, its costs, its fulfilment and our store policies are confirmed.
When will the first artifact be available?
We do not have a date, and we will not invent one. The first object will be made after feedback, written supplier quotes and a tested physical sample. Dispatch readers will hear first.
How do I get notified?
Join the Dispatch. It is free, occasional, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
The objects
Do they actually do anything?
No. They are decorative design objects. The dossiers are fiction — nothing we make measures time, predicts the future, scans anything or opens portals.
Do they contain electronics or batteries?
The first versions we are considering are non-electronic. If a lit version is ever offered, its power source, safety information and warnings will be listed on the product page before it is sold.
What are they made of? How big are they?
Not decided yet. Materials, finishes, dimensions and weight are published only after we have confirmed them with a supplier and a real sample.
Are the pictures real products?
Not yet. Illustrations and concept renders are labelled as such. Photographs of real objects will only appear once a physical sample exists.
Are these from a film, show or game?
No. Every design, name and story is original to Anachron, and we are not affiliated with any franchise.
Shipping, returns and support
We are not shipping anything yet. Destinations, delivery times, duties and our returns policy will be published before the first order is accepted. Questions in the meantime: see Contact.
The lore
Is the archive real?
The archive is a story. File numbers, classifications and origins are fiction, written to make each object more fun to own. The objects themselves are real; the history is invented.
