Classified Artifact Kit

A numbered collectible box: a small object, printed dossier, serial card and evidence-style inserts.

Concept illustration of the Classified Artifact Kit, an Anachron design study. Not a photo of a manufactured product. Concept render — design not finalized

The Classified Artifact Kit is a collectible box: a small physical object presented with a printed dossier, a serial card and evidence-style inserts.

The design idea

Opening it should feel like receiving a sealed case file. Most of the experience lives in the print design — redactions, stamps, catalogue numbers — so the kit can be affordable without expensive manufacturing.

What we are considering

  • A paper-led kit with one simple, low-cost object inside.
  • Numbered boxes — called limited only if the run size really is fixed and published.

Help shape it

Could great storytelling and presentation make a small object feel special? Tell us what you would expect inside through the Dispatch.

What we are trying to learn

  • Can storytelling and presentation make a small object feel special?
  • What would you expect to find inside the box?
